Yes, we did that. I launched Women Who Create in January of 2018. We started off with 30 folks, now we have over 1,300 women who have been through our program.

I was tired of hearing from agency folks and recruiters that finding diverse talent was too hard. They didn’t know anyone. They weren’t out there. False. We wanted to prove people wrong, so we created this database of women of color to show that we are out here, talented, and ready to be hired and promoted. To date, we have almost 1,00 women represented. Do you see us now?
